Product description
WOLF TOOTH introduces a completely new family of SPD-compatible clipless pedals (CTRL + ALT + DEL). The three models (Trail / XC / Gravel) share a sleek profile, an oversized contact area, and the ability to customize the Q-factor. Naturally, they feature technical precision, attention to detail, and easy serviceability.
Wolf Tooth named its new project eloquently: “CTRL + ALT + DEL.” The symbolism of the keyboard shortcut, which triggers a “hard RESTART” on Windows computers, essentially expresses the same idea: a restart in the clipless pedal category!
The Wolf Tooth ALT model is clearly aimed at XC, marathons, and varied gravel courses, where durability and readiness are more important than saved grams.
With only 294 g (per pair) and a platform area of 443 mm², it offers an excellent balance between competitive weight, an extra-slim profile (only 15 mm), and exceptionally efficient power transfer. Thanks to rigorous CNC machining, and thus excellent clearance, it is also immune to mud buildup, ensuring it functions even in the worst conditions, from winter snow to summer dust.
The ALT pedals feature an adjustable Q-factor in 4 mm increments. Inside the pedal are a stainless steel axle, three bearings, and two washers. The washers and bearings can be rearranged for a Q-factor of 51 mm, 55 mm, or 59 mm. This is simple enough for anyone to do at home. For further fine-tuning of the Q-factor, a washer kit containing four 2mm washers is available. As with most Wolf Tooth components and accessories, replacement parts and service guides are available through the Wolf Tooth Right to Repair pages.
