Product description

Wolf Tooth was the first to market a single chainring specifically for cyclocross, where the patented Drop-Stop® technology (alternating wide and narrow teeth) proved to be the ideal solution. These precision CNC machined asymmetric chainrings with a 110 BCD pitch are optimized for 1x Shimano road, gravel and cyclocross drivetrains. The chainrings have an integrated offset for an ideal chainline.

Main advantages and technologies:

• Drop-Stop® Tooth Profile: The wide side of the tooth has maximum contact on the drive side, which distributes the load and extends life. The narrow side, on the other hand, effectively sheds mud and dirt, reducing friction and preventing chain drop.
• Ideal chainline (47.5 mm): The chainring is mounted in the position of the large (outer) chainring, but thanks to the offset it is moved inward towards the frame for optimal chain running.

Compatibility with cranks:

• Designed for Shimano asymmetric 4-bolt cranks with 110 BCD pitch.
• All sizes are compatible with cranks: Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, RS510, Tiagra 4700/4703, Sora R3000/R3030 and Claris R2000/R2030.
• Sizes 38z to 50z are also compatible with cranks: 105 R7000, Ultegra R8000 and Dura-Ace R9100 (size 36z is NOT COMPATIBLE with these cranks).
• Size 42z and larger works with Dura Ace 9100 power meter.
• NOT compatible with Dura-Ace R9200, Ultegra R8100, 105 R7100 cranks and Shimano GRX series.

Assembly requirements:

• The original bolts from the dual chainring (2x) cannot be used. 6mm Wolf Tooth bolts optimized for single chainring are required for installation.
