Wolf Tooth aero chainrings are designed for racing and riders who want to optimize every detail in their pursuit of speed. They're strong, lightweight, and shaped to blend seamlessly with your cranks for a clean, integrated look. Aero chainrings take full advantage of 1x systems with wide-range cassettes and are available in sizes from 46 to 52 teeth, providing a similar range to a standard 2x configuration.

They feature our patented Drop-Stop® design for maximum durability, excellent chain grip and great mud drainage. The Drop-Stop ST profile is specifically designed for Shimano's Hyperglide+ 12-speed chains, which are used in the new GRX 12s groupset.

Compatibility:

• Variants: Aero design is available in sizes 46-52z. Sizes 36-44z are in classic (non-aero) design.
• Cranks: Compatible with Shimano GRX 800 series cranks (FC-RX810-1, FC-RX810-2, FC-RX820-1, FC-RX820-2).
• Cranks: Aero versions are also compatible with the Shimano GRX 600 series (FC-RX600-1, FC-RX600-10, RX600-10, FC-RX610-1, FC-RX610-2).
• Chain: The Drop-Stop ST is optimized for Shimano Hyperglide+ 12-speed chains.
• Tooth profile: The patented profile of alternating wide and narrow teeth ensures superior chain grip and self-cleaning ability in mud.
• Intended use: These chainrings are intended for 1x (single chainring) systems only. They are not compatible with derailleurs (2x).

Recommendation:

• If you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, we recommend using a chain guide in addition to a clutch derailleur. Without these precautions, the chain may fall off or get "chain suck".
