Product description
The Procaliber 8 is a cross-country mountain bike that's ready to race and shred on singletrack. Featuring an alloy frame with modern geometry for lightning-fast cornering, confident cornering and fast climbs, it's the perfect compromise between race-ready performance and an affordable price tag. It's all topped off with a Shimano SLX and XT 12-speed drivetrain and a 120mm RockShox Recon Gold fork for a wide range of gearing and comfortable handling over rough terrain.
Benefits of the Trek Procaliber 8 bike
- Lightweight aluminum frame with solid rear axle
- Air fork with 120mm travel
- Shimano 1x12 drivetrain
- Telescopic seatpost
- Tubeless rims and tires
Rock Shox Recon suspension fork
A comfortable ride is the foundation of a good experience. That's why you can count on this suspension fork to give you the comfort you've always dreamed of. The 120mm fork travel is also suitable for lighter trails, where this bike won't get lost. The thru-axle helps with overall front-end stiffness compared to a classic quick release and improves front-wheel handling.
Shimano 1x12 drivetrain
Precise and reliable shifting is provided by the 12-speed Shimano SLX groupset, complemented by the Shimano XT derailleur. Thanks to the wide-range cassette, you don't have to worry about running out of gears on a steep climb with a single chainring.
Telescopic seatpost
The Bontrager Line dropper post makes it easy and quick to change saddle position, so you can instantly go from climbing a hill to descending with your saddle a few inches lower, giving you room to shift your center of gravity back.
