Trail, Enduro

29"

Travel: F 160 / R 140

The SB130 was the most successful of the Yeti range and offered an ideal base from which to build on for the new SB140.
A versatile trail bike spiced with a dash of enduro, it promises fun downhill and uphill.

And with the new bike comes new features and improvements.
A new centre section for more ground clearance, a threaded centre for the first time on a Yeti BSA, a new generation Switch Infinity system, a UDH stem, new wishbones with a tweaked suspension curve, etc. The geometry is again a little longer and more laid back, but still completely legible and balanced for every rider. The Yeti has always known how to go uphill and the SB140 is no exception. The Switch Infinity system allows you to have one of the most efficient wheels in terms of suspension characteristics.

Again, the LR version is offered for 2023. What is it? It stands for Lunch Ride. The Yeti has been known to shut up for lunch and go for a spin. It was on these lunch rides that this SB140 frame modification was born, but with a higher travel on the fork and a different shock. Stronger brakes, more durable wheels and tyres. Simply a more enduro version. The idea came from employees modifying their then SB130, now SB140 for themselves.

If a hanger bending crash occurs, the new Yeti models use the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) interface — the industry standard mount for a rear derailleur. The UDH is available in nearly any bike shop, Yeti dealer or not.

The American brand YETI was at the birth of mountain bikes and is one of the absolute leaders in the MTB category. YETI Cycles was founded in 1984 by John Parker, a former motorcycle racer who at the time was looking for a new meaning in life after a serious accident. Together with his friends Eric and Chris Herting and the now legendary Frank "The Welder" Wadelton, they founded one of the greatest bike legends of all time - YETI Cycles.
