The front of the new Ritchey RL1 Switch stem uses the legendary and logical four-bolt clamp design that is typical of many Ritchey models - it's stiff, practical and secure. But the real heart of this innovative stem lies in its ability to discreetly hide cables within the headset and frame.

Up to three cables – for example, rear brake, shifter, electronic shifting or dropper post – can be easily integrated using Ritchey Switch System pads and a Switch headset (both sold separately). The Ritchey RL1 series is designed for cyclists looking for quality components for their bike upgrade or new build at a great price, without having to compromise on the quality and reliability that Ritchey is known for.

About the Ritchey Switch system

The Ritchey Switch System is an innovative solution designed to easily hide internally routed cables, wires and hydraulic hoses from the handlebars directly into frames with a straight 1.5" head tube and tapered 1-1/8" - 1.5" fork. The entire system consists of three elements:

• Switch pads
