Product description

This new headset top is a key part of the Ritchey Comp Switch system. It is designed specifically to work with the Ritchey Switch Stem to allow for elegant routing of shift cables, electronic wires and hydraulic hoses directly from the handlebars to the bike frame.

The cables are routed from the handlebars into a special channel on the underside of the Switch stem, then through a hole in the front of the pads and two channels at the top of the headset and into the frame. This sophisticated system ensures that the headset bearings can perform their function completely freely, without any restriction or friction caused by the cables passing through.

About the Ritchey Switch system

The Ritchey Switch System is an innovative integrated solution for easily hiding internal routing. It is designed for frames with a straight 1.5" head tube in combination with tapered 1-1/8" - 1.5" forks. The entire system consists of three elements:

• Switch stem
• Switch headset
• Switch pads
