The ergonomic evolution of Ritchey handlebars reaches its peak with the revolutionary Beacon XL. To the already groundbreaking 36° drop flare, this version adds a crucial element: an extreme 52cm width. In addition to the unrivaled comfort and stability this combination provides, there is also a huge amount of space between the levers for the largest handlebar bags and panniers.

When riding in the hooks, the Beacon XL focuses on comfort with a very shallow drop ( 80 mm ) and a shorter reach than is common in rams. The aerodynamically shaped upper section offers wide palm support and has a gentle backsweep for a more natural hand position when holding up.

The Beacon XL’s unconventional aesthetic is packed with practicality. Inspired by the world of randonneurs, it allows riders to easily change grips without compromising the stability of their bike, even when fully loaded.
