Want to run lower pressures, have more grip, and not have to deal with a crushed rim after every rocky descent? The Rimpact Pro V2 is the tire liner that lets you do all of this. Dual density, closed-cell foam absorbs shock, protects the rim, and helps eliminate punctures and cuts, so you can ride harder.

The insert supports the tire at lower pressures, so it doesn't "chew" as much, but it also smooths out trail messes beautifully. The result? More traction, a quieter bike, and greater confidence in fast sections and rock gardens. The construction with a harder protective shell and inner foam helps distribute extreme forces from impacts and stabilizes the tire bead on the rim.

How it works in practice

The Rimpact Pro V2 liner is an evolution of the original, benchmark-winning version. The harder outer layer absorbs big impacts (edges, rocks, roots), the softer inner foam dampens vibrations and helps hold the tire beads firmly to the rim. The closed-cell foam prevents sealant from soaking in – just be aware that some of the sealant will stick to the liner, so use about a quarter more than the amount recommended on the bottle.

Assembly recommendations

• Expect approximately +25% more sealant than the usual amount.

• It is best to pour the sealant directly into the casing before sealing it.

• The insert is fully compatible with the supplied 44mm Rimpact valve.
