Rimpact is thrilled to introduce its new Race Edition inserts, optimized for racing and tested by the world's fastest riders. Building on the success of their test-winning PRO V2 insert, Rimpact made specific adjustments based on feedback from top-level Downhill and Enduro racers to meet the unique demands of competitive cycling.

Why Choose Race Edition?

• Lower Rotational Weight: Rimpact inserts already boast some of the best weight-to-protection ratios available. Yet, when racing at the highest level, every gram counts. Race Edition weighs 20% less than the standard PRO V2 insert, minimizing any added inertia.
• Lower Profile: Race Edition inserts take up 24% less room in a tire compared to standard inserts. They're still large enough to provide damping and support, but they offer a less transformative ride feel, preferred by some racers.
• Easier Installation: For race teams, quick access to spare or replacement components between races means absolute rim protection isn't always the top priority. Despite this, these inserts still play a crucial role in maintaining tire pressure. Their lower profile also makes last-minute fitting easier between race runs. The insert continues to provide a significant boost in protection, very close to that of a full Pro V2 insert.

Important Installation and Usage Notice

Rimpact inserts must be used in conjunction with insert-compatible valves.

It's recommended to use approximately 25% more sealant than advised on the bottle. This ensures the insert's additional surface area is adequately coated with fluid. Rimpact inserts are closed-cell and cannot absorb liquid; however, some sealant will cling to their exterior, requiring a slightly higher dosage. Sealant can be injected through Rimpact Valves, but it's best poured directly into the tire.
