Product description

The Falcn Essential builds on the success of the top-of-the-line Falcn RS. Performance geometry and tire clearance up to 34mm are identical, while the diffuser fork crown and universal derailleur hanger (UDH) are also retained.

This geometry was carefully designed by Ridley engineers with a focus on speed, stability and handling. The head tube is shorter than the Noah Fast and Helium SLX models, giving the rider a more aggressive stance. The bottom bracket is positioned lower, having been adapted to ride wider tires - the rider maintains excellent control of the bike thanks to a lower center of gravity.

The main differences are the use of a classic round seatpost on the Falcn Essential (versus the D-shaped seatpost on the Falcn RS) and a different carbon composition. Despite this, the Falcn Essential frame weighs just 990 grams.
