The tape offers high tensile strength, but thanks to its optimally balanced stretch and adhesive layer,
it perfectly adheres to the inner rim wall as if it were part of the rim itself. Do you usually struggle to find the valve hole?
With Peaty’s Rim Tape, you can forget about this issue. The tape’s transparency will always guide you with confidence.

Installation Instructions:

1. After removing the tire, remove the old tape from the rim.
2. Thoroughly clean the inside of the rim using an alcohol-based degreaser.
3. Before applying the tape, ensure the rim is dry and free of any dirt.
4. Start about 10 cm away from the valve hole and work your way towards it. Press the tape firmly
5. into the center of the rim bed and smooth it out towards the edges. Squeeze out all trapped air.
6. Continue this way around the entire circumference of the rim, again overlapping about 10 cm past the valve hole.
7. Pierce the tape in the center of the valve hole with a sharp tip.
8. Install the MK2 valve.
9. Mount the tubeless tire and fill it with Peaty’s Tubeless Sealant.
10. Inflate the tire to a higher pressure than you normally ride at.
11. Thoroughly shake the inflated tire and let it settle.
12. Before riding, release the pressure to your desired riding level.
