The tape offers high tensile strength, but thanks to its optimally tuned stretchiness and adhesive layer,
it perfectly adheres to the inner wall of the rim as if it were part of it.

Do you often have trouble locating the valve hole? With Peaty’s Rim Tape, you can forget about that complication. The tape’s transparency will always guide you confidently.

Installation instructions

1. After removing the tire, remove the old tape from the rim.
2. Thoroughly clean the inner rim wall using an alcohol-based degreaser.
3. Before applying the tape, make sure the rim is dry and free of any dirt.
4. Start about 10 cm away from the valve hole and work towards it. Press the tape firmly
5. into the center of the inner rim wall and smooth it out towards the edges. Squeeze out all trapped air.
6. Repeat the same process around the entire circumference of the rim, overlapping about 10 cm past the valve hole.
7. Pierce the tape sharply at the center of the valve hole.
8. Install the MK2 valve.
9. Mount the tubeless tire and fill it with Peaty’s Tubeless Sealant.
10. Inflate the tire to a pressure higher than your usual riding pressure.
11. Shake the inflated tire thoroughly and let it settle.
12. Before riding, release the pressure to your desired riding level.
