Improved for peloton use, the MET Trenta Mips is a performance road helmet designed to maximize ventilation and save energy with every pedal stroke.

The MET Trenta Mips helmet features the MIPS-C2® Rotational Control System, which allows the helmet to slide against the head during a crash, redirecting harmful rotational motion. MIPS is a brain protection system that adds additional protection to the helmet's basic structure during certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is mounted inside the helmet, between the comfortable padding and EPS foam.

Originally developed by NACA, the predecessor of NASA, this front entry into the helmet has a cooling effect. Utilizing the power of the Venturi effect, the vent pushes warm air out of the helmet through specially positioned exhausts. This ensures a constant flow of air through the helmet without air getting trapped and creating drag, achieving maximum comfort during long rides on the road or gravel bike.

For peloton use, the MET Trenta helmet is enhanced with a tubular rear shape and internal airflow channels that ensure the best performance when riding in a group, with up to 7% less drag than traditional road helmets. It has a lower profile at the rear that works synergistically with the front NACA vent and rear deflector to effectively manage airflow.
