Why is it safer?

Thanks to Mips technology, Rivale combines an exceptional price-quality ratio with all the benefits of a rotational force brain protection system. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add at least 10% additional safety to standard helmet construction in certain impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is mounted inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS foam.

The Rivale Mips represents an evolution in external design and a revolution in internal shape. The fit is unrivaled and the new Safe-T Upsilon fastening system keeps the helmet stable on the head. The 360° circumferential strap ensures there are no pressure points on the skull, and its easy-to-use vertical adjustment allows for an individual fit.

Why is it more effective?

The back of the Rivale Mips helmet features MET’s unique design signature – notably the NACA vent built into the lower, tubular profile, making the Rivale Mips more aerodynamic than its predecessor. The front of the helmet is designed with wider and longer vents that improve ventilation and can also be used to securely store sunglasses. A combination that ensures pure riding pleasure.
