The Manta Mips® helmet defines MET's aesthetic and cutting-edge design. It's as brilliant as the original, but with sharper lines and a more modern feel. The Manta Mips® is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a lower, tubular profile at the rear, developed with specific wind tunnel testing at the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.

The MET Manta Mips® helmet, equipped with the MIPS-C2® Rotational Control System, is able to slide against the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational motion. Mips® is a brain protection system – designed to add at least 10% additional safety to standard helmet construction in certain impacts. The Mips Brain Protection System (BPS) is mounted inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS foam.

The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fasten the helmet. This feature effectively reduces triathlon transition times.

Although it is primarily an aero helmet, it is also well ventilated. We have created an internal shape to guide air and MET's signature NACA valve works in conjunction with specially placed outlets to ensure a constant flow of air through the helmet without trapping wind and creating drag.

The helmet is equipped with two special ports for securely anchoring sunglasses.

In addition to its technical prowess, the Manta Mips® is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° wraparound strap ensures there are no pressure points on the skull, and its internal shape is inspired by the award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon helmet.
