This hand-built PRO version combines a flexible Super Polyester casing with a SMARTprime tread compound, Challenge's fastest rubber yet. The new Easy-Fit Shape molding process gently pre-shapes the tire, making it easier to mount and inflate.

CONSTRUCTION: Handmade

Handmade Challenge tires combine comfort, performance and grip in a way that no other product can match. They are assembled step by step by experienced craftsmen. Ultra-pliable casing materials such as silk, cotton or polyester are coated with high-quality natural adhesives and latex coatings. The result is a small-batch tire with a riding feel that is on a whole new level.

Casing: Super Polyester 300 TPI

High thread count Super Polyesters (220-300 TPI) make up the manufacturer's most affordable handmade braids. Polyester is much softer and stronger than nylon, is non-absorbent and very durable.

MIXTURE: SMART

The SMART standard rubber compound represents the perfect balance between durability and performance. The manual production method ensures that the tread compounds are never cured or exposed to high temperatures during the vulcanization process.

DEFECT PROTECTION: PPS

The Puncture Protection System is a durable, densely woven fabric placed between the tread and the casing to increase overall puncture resistance.
