The Strada is Challenge's flagship tire for efficiency and road feel. This high-performance tire combines a supple round profile that effectively absorbs bumps on rough asphalt with a construction that provides maximum control and very low rolling resistance.

This hand-built PRO version uses a flexible Super Polyester casing and SMARTprime tread compound, the fastest rubber the manufacturer has ever offered. The Challenge Clincher tires are designed for use with inner tubes and hooked rims.

CONSTRUCTION: Handmade

Handmade Challenge tires combine comfort, performance and grip in a way that conventional tires cannot match. They are assembled step by step by experienced craftsmen. Ultra-pliable casing materials such as silk, cotton or polyester are coated with high-quality natural adhesives and latex coatings. The result is a small-batch tire with riding characteristics that are on a whole new level.

BRAID (Casing): Super Polyester 300 TPI

High thread count Super Polyesters (220-300 TPI) make up Challenge's most affordable handmade braids. Polyester is much softer and stronger than nylon, is non-absorbent and highly durable.

MIXTURE: SMARTprime

This compound provides lower rolling resistance than the base SMART compound without sacrificing traction or durability. SMARTprime rubber forms the basis of the fastest road tires Challenge has ever developed.

DEFECT PROTECTION: PPS Ganzo

Ganzo PPS is a premium single-layer puncture protection fabric that offers a higher level of safety while maintaining very low weight and minimal rolling resistance.
