The 4 STAGIONI tire is always the right choice, whether your roads are smooth and dry, or wet and full of debris. It is more than just a great summer tire with incredible XP casing protection; the SMART HYDRO tread compound makes it the perfect tire for all four seasons.

This handmade XP series combines a supple Super Polyester casing, reinforced from bead-to-bead, with our SMART HYDRO tread compound which optimizes wet-weather traction. Our new Easy-Fit Shape process gently pre-shapes the tire for easier mounting and inflation.

This Challenge TLR (Tubeless Ready) model is Hookless Rim Compatible. For a perfect tubeless setup, use Challenge Smart Tubeless Sealant.

Handmade Construction

Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High-quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.

XP Series (Xtra Protection)

Rugged High Performance – Extra Protection under the tread and in the sidewalls make the XP series the choice for rough pavement and gravel routes where sidewall cuts are common.

Super Polyester 260TPI Casing

Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220–300 TPI (threads per inch) make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger than nylon, is impervious to water, and quite durable.

SMARThydro Compound

The same low rolling resistance as our SMARTprime compound, but with improved wet-weather grip. SMARThydro forms the basis of our most versatile tires.

Casing Reinforcement: Silver + Gold

The Gold Armor protection combines the Silver Armor sidewall reinforcement with an internal casing layer that extends bead-to-bead, providing the ultimate resistance to damage.
