The 4 STAGIONI tire is always the right choice, whether your rides are smooth and dry or wet and full of debris. It’s more than just a great summer tire with incredible XP casing protection; the SMART HYDRO tread compound makes it the perfect tire for all four seasons.

This handcrafted XP series combines a supple Super Polyester casing, reinforced bead-to-bead, with our SMART HYDRO tread compound, which optimizes traction on wet surfaces. Our new Easy-Fit Shape molding process gently pre-shapes the tire for easier installation and inflation.

This Challenge TLR (Tubeless Ready) model is compatible with hookless rims (Hookless Rim Compatible). For a perfect tubeless seal, use Challenge Smart Tubeless Sealant.

Handcrafted

Challenge’s handcrafted tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires simply can’t match.

Our handcrafted tires are assembled step by step by experienced artisans. High-quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials such as silk, cotton, or polyester.

The result is a small batch of tires with a ride feel that’s simply on another level.

XP (Xtra Protection – Extra Protection)

Durable high performance – Extra protection under the tread and in the sidewalls makes the XP series the choice for rough asphalt and gravel roads, where sidewall cuts are common.

Super Polyester 260 TPI Casing

Higher thread count Super Polyesters (220–300 TPI, threads per inch) form our most accessible handcrafted casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger than nylon, waterproof, and fairly durable.

SMARThydro Compound

The same low rolling resistance as our SMARTprime compound but with improved wet grip. SMARThydro forms the basis of our most versatile tires.

Casing Reinforcement: Silver and Gold

Gold Armor protection combines Silver Armor sidewall reinforcements with an internal bead-to-bead casing layer, providing maximum damage resistance.
